Dear Copper Hills 8th Ward Members,

It’s been exactly one year since I sent my first postcard. This is my fourth postcard. And again, if you’re not a member of the LDS church, please pardon this intrusion, as my ward address list is outdated.

For 6.5 years, church leaders have rejected my numerous requests that they answer a few questions about a church position that hasn’t yet been written on my heart by the Holy Ghost.

Our "RIGHT" to question, is written, in JST Mark 9:40-48, which is the Lord’s words admonishing us to refrain from trusting church leaders, and in D&C 50:7-25, which is the Lord’s words admonishing us to refrain from accepting ideas unless we understand them by the Spirit of truth.

If church leaders, including general authorities, are unwilling to answer questions, then they should step down, and members should refrain from sustaining them, as they are in a state of apostasy to the principles outlined in these two scriptures, leading the church astray.

My youngest daughter has shown a desire to attend church and young women’s activities. However, it’s not fair to her, that she isn’t being told the truth about the fact that the LDS church is not practicing what they preach.

In essence, the church doesn’t believe in 2 Nephi 32:5, where, it’s written, that after we enter in by the way, and receive the Holy Ghost, "IT" will show us all things what we should do.

Please let her know that the church has replaced these principles, with the idea that church leaders are meant to show us all things we should do, that if we don’t obey them without question, we’ll be excommunicated, and then ignored.

Neither in the 32 years of being a member, nor in the 6.5 years since having my membership taken from me, have I ever heard a church member, leader, or general authority state that they believe we are to be guided by the Holy Ghost in all things, as the above three scriptures teach.

So, how can I honestly expect that my daughter will be taught to receive the Holy Ghost? Will any of her leaders in the church, exemplify a life of being guided in all things by the Holy Ghost? Are there any among you, in the Copper Hills 8th Ward, who are being guided in all things by the Holy Ghost?

In other words, will my daughter be led to experience the same, most incredible feeling of peace and happiness that I feel in my heart, through embracing and remaining true to these principles?

Please let me know if you have any questions.

Sincerely,

Aaron McMillan
